STARBUZZ EXOTIC SOUR APPLE SHISHA REVIEW

Starbuzz Exotic Sour Apple comes in your run of the mill Starbuzz medium to large cut tobacco with many stems, more than you might expect from the Starbuzz brand of shisha. The colour is an extremely dark green, and the tobacco is just as wet and sticky as you might expect. The smell is strong and pungent, it is a very sour and citrusy apple fragrance. The taste is much like the smell, sour and strong in citrus, as well as apple, like an extremely tart green apple. The smoke is extremely thick and dense, as you might expect from the starbuzz brand. The taste is much closer to real fruit than it is to a more candied apple. It starts off, in fact, much more candied in taste but as the hookah heats up and it gets smoking you find that the taste settles down and becomes much more like a real apple. As this happens though it does become more subtle and the taste does begin to fade at somewhere around the one hour mark where the smoke begins tasting slightly more harsh than you might like. We regard this as an average shisha, definitely a must for all the fans of apple flavoured shisha out there but not interesting enough to warrant your attention if you prefer something a little more exotic. It is a good all rounder, but nothing to write home about.
